Trick Ball
The Tricker throws a giant ball at people while they try to guess what he's going to do

Choose one person to be the TRICKER and have everyone else get in a line. Be sure there is adult supervision present for this moderately dangerous game. To begin the game, the first person in line should yell one of three things: “Low!”, “Normal!”, or “Trick!” and begin his or her sprint down the runway. It’s important for the Tricker to listen very carefully for what was shouted before the person began running.

- Low ball
- the Tricker should put the ball in the middle of the runway and hold it there like a football players holds the ball until it is kicked. When the player reaches the ball, he or she may do as they please, including kicking the ball, rolling over it, or any other imaginative method of having fun the person can think of.
- Normal ball
- the Tricker should stand at the very end of the runway and kick the ball at the player as he or she scuttles down the runway. When the person encounters the ball, they may again do as they please, including letting their body bounce off the ball, attempting to kick the ball, seeing if they can withstand the ball’s impact, or anything else they can think of.
- Trick ball
- the Tricker’s job gets very imaginative. The Tricker should attempt to trick the person as to exactly when the ball will come and where. Common tricks include a setup like the Low ball, and then removing the ball at the last minute and throwing the ball at the player from the side.
